Student Testimonials

Rebecca John Medical Student

"The interview MMI session was very helpful, thank you so so much for all of your support! I really learnt a lot from the practice interview and also especially the teaching before, and my whole family loved the Diwali sweets!"

Jenny Wilson Medical Student

"Way2MedSchool’s interview course gave me a solid base to begin my preparation for my interviews, and the mock interviews were very useful to review upon the progress I had made. The mock interviews were slightly tedious with some technical issues, however overall the feedback and marking process were very thorough and gave me some very good points to work on."

FAQ's

We offer first-class, personalised training to every UCAT aspirant, delivered by experienced doctors and medical educators from the NHS. We provide one-on-one mentorships to UCAT aspirants, and the timings are flexible according to the student’s availability.

We offer unmediated one-to-one UCAT 1-hour sessions priced at £100 per session. Each session will be conducted by well-experienced doctors who have in-depth knowledge of the UCAT curriculum.

The UCAT training at RaakMedics is not fixed. It varies according to the student’s knowledge of the relevant topics, availability, and the exam date. However, we recommend every aspirant to attend at least 10-12 sessions to effectively prepare for UCAT.

The training sessions will be carefully planned and scheduled accordingly to allow the aspirants to find sufficient time to practise as well as clear any doubts related to the UCAT exam. If time allows, additional sessions will be planned out, especially when your exam is close by.

For sure! Students will continue to receive our support and guidance until their UCAT examination date. Each student will be added to a separate WhatsApp group to clear their doubts and talk to their peers, as well as to receive up-to-date UCAT questions.

The UCAT preparation sessions will commence from June onwards. Students who enrol early will have more time to prepare and find it easy to understand the test format as well as the syllabus.

Yes, the UCAT training sessions at Raakmedics are fully customised according to the student’s requirements. If you are confident about some sections, we can plan and tailor the sessions to focus on the weaker domains.

You must register and book your test through the official UCAT website (www.ucat.ac.uk) during the registration window, which typically opens in early June.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your test through your UCAT account, but deadlines apply. Changes made close to the test date may incur fees or be restricted.

Each cognitive subtest is scored between 300–900, for a total of 1200–3600. The Situational Judgement section is scored in Bands 1–4 (with Band 1 being the highest).

A “good” UCAT score varies by year and university. As a rough guide, scoring above 650 in each section (2600+ total) is considered competitive for many schools.

No universal minimum score exists. Each university has its own selection criteria—some set cut-off scores, while others consider UCAT alongside academic grades and personal statements.
You’ll receive your UCAT score immediately after completing the test, and it will be available in your UCAT account. Universities access your score directly.
If you miss your test without rescheduling or valid reason, you forfeit your fee and won’t be able to retake it that cycle.

After the test, you submit your UCAS application by the October 2025 deadline, including your UCAT score. Universities will use your score in their admissions process.

Yes. International students applying to UK medical or dental schools that require the UCAT must sit the test, either at a local Pearson VUE test centre or online if available.
